Rob Swanson has been a photographer in Vermont for more than 30 years. He has witnessed Vermont's news, from Bernie Sanders' initial election as Burlington mayor to small country fairs, behind the lens of his camera.

During his time as a photojournalist, Rob worked for the Vanguard Press, the Burlington Free Press, and the Associated Press. Rob's photographs have been published on the front pages of the New York Times and the Boston Globe, as well as featured in Newsweek, Fortune, and Business Week magazines.

After chasing front page-worthy shots for decades, Rob now enjoys capturing nature photographs from his home in South Hero, VT where he lives with his wife, two dogs, and three cats.

Rob shoots with Nikon cameras using a wide array of lenses, including his favorite, a 200-500/5.6 zoom lens.
